Starting with the packaging they already had, we eliminated unnecessary clutter and simplified the original design.

Following this — we did brand identity explorations and site wireframes to find ways to fuse the old
and the new.

With a deep heritage dating back to 1965, the storied restaurant had an abundance of art and design already present at it’s original location.

Shown left, are just a few of the illustrations we found scattered throughout the shop and in old photos taken of the space.

With these vintage illustrations and their past photography — we paired modern typography, energetic photography and bright colors to achieve a balance between heritage and contemporary.
