We selected a pair of fonts that feel as rugged and durable as Way North’s work.
Taking inspiration from the materials and methods used for Way North’s products and art, we created a color scheme that alludes to the nature of the process.
Taking more inspiration from metal materials, we added another identifiable layer to designs with gritty, bitmapped textures that allude to the various glares, scratches, or polishes that you find throughout the welding process.
